Abstract

The virtuous circle between intellect and will in practical truth is consistent with the unity of being and the perfection of the soul's powers. In the notion of practical truth in Saint Thomas, a problem of which he himself called “quoddam dubium” is something dubious. In practical truth, which is moral action, the intellect agrees with the will, and the will, in turn, agrees with the intellect.  Sustains, based on the unity of being and the perfection of powers, that this circularity is virtuous, a perfection in the natural order. In this circularity, intellect and will are related and communicate their perfections mutually.
